The legendary Black Beauty snare drum from Ludwig is constructed of a single sheet of brass that is machine drawn and spun into a seamless beaded shell, then nickel-plated with a beautifully exquisite finish. An American original, the Black Beauty provides a warm, round metallic tone that is often imitated, but never duplicated. This model features tube lugs for a precise and sure tune, while SupraPhonic snare wires aid the classic Black Beauty attack. A Protection Racket Case is also included for portable protection between gigs. Amazingly strong, these cases include a thick fleece lining to keep your drums extra safe. The outer cover is also extremely strong and durable.
