    My goal was to play my conventional cajon with my hands and use this bass box as my bass drum. However the tone on the bass box was mid at best. My cajon was much lower in tone and therefore this set up created the opposite effect that I was trying to achieve. I wouldn't recommend this cajon. It's simply not bass enough by far.
