    I was nervous about the wire pull pedal to begin with. never got to try it in the store. practiced on it once and the pedal wire broke in half on the first gig. (in the middle of the gig). the pedal also slips if you hit it to hard on the beater head. which means you have to stop in the middle of a song/set and re adjust it. You also do not need the short high hat it comes with. i don't mind it, ( having an extra), but my full size DW9000 high hat works just fine as well. So you could order the DW direct drive cajon pedal and piece your own together and it would be a way better quality for the price. i just did.
