Meinl Cymbals CC18DACH Classics Custom 18" Dark China Cymbal

Meinl Cymbals - Classics Custom Dark - Overhead Demo #1

Description
The Meinl Classics Custom Dark China Cymbal 18" combines cutting-edge design with handcrafted quality. Meinl's Classics Custom series offers performers loud, bright cymbals tailored for today's amplified music. The Dark China's unlathed surface and wide lip produce a short, trashy sustain ideal for accenting dense rock and metal mixes.
A Modern Twist on a Classic Design
Meinl crafted the Dark China from B10 bronze, an alloy prized for its strength and tonal character. Its unlathed surface enhances overtones for a complex, distorted timbre. A wide, flanged edge amplifies its volume and attack. The result is a cymbal that roars to life, slicing through distorted guitars and synths.
Articulate and Responsive
The Dark China's medium weight and tapered profile give drummers nuanced control. Its fast, bright attack speaks clearly even at lower volumes, allowing for subtle accenting. The short sustain prevents overloud, ringing accents, producing an articulate chime that complements rapid-fire playing styles.
A Cymbal as Bold as Your Sound
The Dark China's unlathed finish creates a bold, mottled appearance as distinctive as its tone. Its shadowed bronze surface and wide lip embody the aggressive, forward-looking ethos of Meinl's Classics Custom series. For drummers seeking to push the boundaries of modern music, the Dark China delivers a trashy, responsive cymbal to match their vision.

These dark series Meinl Cymbals are perfect for metal. They are thicker and can take the abuse they are dealt. The sound is crisp and loud!

The sound is present and the attacked low sustain effect that anyone could want out of a China it immediately became a staple point in a song with my band as a punch for a lyric. 100% would recommend at least giving this cymbal a listen to any friend.
This thing sounds like a BEAST!

Such a great sound it adds to the metal music I play. Complimentary to the 16" trash China. Cuts through with a beastly attack
Definitely buy again

Super trashy with quick decay. I have recorded and gigged with. Always get asked what china I'm playing. Thin weight gives it that sensitive jazzy accent s or bash on it for a break down friendzy. What you want in a china!
