I purchased these cymbals because I could not afford what I really wanted and a friend recommended I give these a try. I was expecting that I would be compromising quality and sound but was I ever wrong. These cymbals are bright and crisp with great response.

Full bodied crashes. Great for bigger church settings. Trash crash sounds great. Ride and hats have a nice ping thats not to high. Over all a great set.
Not quit what I expected.

After reading the reviews and listening to friends advice I gave these cymbals a shot. The ride clangs too much and doe does not have that ping characteristic of other rides. It also lacked a consistent wash. The crashes were just OK and still had that background clang. The splash and trash crash were the best sounding. This is a step up for a raw beginner. But if you're looking for something in the intermediate range there are better choices.

Im Confused, There is a Pack which is the same thing without the "free" cymbals for 200 less, so why is it 200 more when its the same stuff plus free cymbals?
