    I did a ton of research on kick drum practice pads and I'm glad I chose this one. The biggest concern I had before I bought it was the little spikes on the legs not being able to hold it to the carpet/ground during use. However, the spikes actually a pretty big and go down a lot, it works on my big shaggy carpet in my apartment. It sounds great and is quiet too. 100% recommend it. I can't wait to travel with it so I can play anywhere.
