Great little percussion instrument that adds to my acoustic music.

The strap on this one is actually good - better than the meinl foot tambourine. However, the sound on this one is pretty low volume - not very crisp. So - i would say, meh, it's just OK.

  • Functional but not long lasting

I bought this for use in church with my cajon setup and it works well but it only took about a year before the strap started to wear down. The strap started to split, the velcro starts to wear and, if you're not careful, you can rip the strap right off of the little screw that holds it together. Also it is a little cutty & high pitched if you're trying to play some mellow stuff, but if you just need it to help keep time or accent a little here and there then you should be fine. Don't expect to get much of a mellow "swish" sound out of it though, the shaker itself is too small & odd shaped for that. If you play cajon regularly expect needing to buy a new one of these foot shakers every 2-5 years.

  • Would look for something more heavy duty next time.

Great product. With varied pitches, will need another set to match up.
