HCS 10/12/14" Smack Stack by Meinl Cymbals - HCS024SM

Introducing the Meinl Smack Stacks

Description
The MEINL 3-piece HCS 10/12/14 Smack Stack features three discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect. The stack can be manipulated by adjusting the tension of the cymbal stand’s wing nut. Increased tension produces a crisp attack and short decay ideal for quick accents, while loose settings yield a longer sustain. It works well when paired with a snare drum for enhanced back beats, or as an alternative to your snare altogether. The discs are sized 10", 12" and 14".
Made in Germany with MS63 brass alloy for a clean, bright and crisp tone, the HCS 10/12/14 Smack Stack features substantial thickness with well-formed surface grooves and hammer marks to give you a defined sound without clangy or ear-piercing overtones. Hole cutouts and a wavy shape give the cymbal discs a drier attack with more trash and slosh to fill out the sound with complex tone. HCS Smack Stacks naturally blend with any type of cymbal from B20 to B8 bronze. You can easily incorporate a Smack Stack into your kit, especially if you play other MEINL cymbal lines like Byzance, Pure Alloy or Classics Custom.
HCS Cymbals
These are not those distractingly cheap, flimsy prop cymbals that come with most drum sets. MEINL HCS cymbals have impressive sound and sturdy feel geared toward beginner/intermediate players. Playing HCS cymbals will sound more like what you hear in actual songs, making the drums even more fun to play. Plus, they aren't going to fall apart, dent or bend after a few uses like stock cymbals.ll when paired with a snare drum for enhanced back beats, or as an alternative to your snare altogether. The discs are sized 10", 12" and 14".

So if I'm being completely honest, this sounds awful. I can grab 3 sheets of harder plastic and hit that and it would sound really close to this stack. Now to each there own but do yourself a favor and save the money. I'm disappointed cause these line of cymbals are solid for the price and good for starters but this isn't worth the money at all
