The 5-piece HCS Smack Stack consists of five cymbal discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect when stacked on top of each other. These discs are sized 8", 10", 12", 14" and 16". Hole cutouts give you a drier attack with more trash and slosh to fill out the sound with complex tone, and they also help the cymbals activate while cutting down on weight.

The Smack Stack can be manipulated by adjusting the tension of the cymbal stand’s wing nut. Increased tension produces a crisp attack and short decay ideal for quick accents, while a looser setting yields a longer sustain. Works well when paired with a snare drum for enhanced backbeats, or as an alternative to your snare altogether. Hole cutouts and a wavy shape give the cymbal discs a drier attack with more trash and slosh to fill out the sound with complex tone. Use all five discs for a fuller sound and increased projection, or mix and match a few sizes to find the sound that suits you best. Made in Germany with MS63 brass alloy for a clean, bright and crisp tone, they features substantial thickness with well-formed surface grooves and hammer marks to give you a defined sound without clangy or ear-piercing overtones.

HCS Cymbals

These are not those distractingly cheap, flimsy prop cymbals that come with most drum sets. MEINL HCS cymbals have impressive sound and sturdy feel geared toward beginner/intermediate players. Playing HCS cymbals will sound more like what you hear in actual songs, making the drums even more fun to play. Plus, they aren't going to fall apart, dent or bend after a few uses like stock cymbals.
