collapse expand iconDescription

Take your practice and performance to a new level of creativity and inspiration with the HCS-SCS1 Ultimate Complete Cymbal Set Pack with free 16" trash crash from MEINL Cymbals. This full range of HCS brass cymbals will complete your drum set with every essential, and the effect cymbals are designed to cue in serious sound. Included in this one-stop Ultimate Set are a 14" hi-hat pair, 20" ride, 14" crash, 16" crash, 18" crash, 14" China, 8" bell, 10" splash, plus a free 16" trash crash.

The hi-hats have a crisp "chick" with a nice slosh when played open, while the ride cymbal delivers a well-defined "ping" and a cutting bell without distracting overtones. HCS crashes respond with a warm attack followed by a medium sustain. The China is ideal for adding cutting accents with a sharp, sinister sound. Use the bell for a light and bright sonic alternative with a long sustain. The 10" splash cymbal is a standard and ideal for quick accents or spicing up fills.

For a truly unique effect, dig in with the free 16" trash crash. Its specially cut holes take a normal crash sound and shorten its sustain while adding a blend of trashy tones that can really change the dynamic of your playing.

This full range of cymbals allows you to experiment with different setups to find your own personal musical touch and appearance on the drums. Stack the splashes and bell inverted over the larger cymbals to eliminate the need for other stands while reaching the look of a professional. HCS cymbals are crafted in Germany with a durable brass alloy that has a responsive touch with an unmatched sound quality in this range. Geared towards beginners, MEINL HCS cymbals stand up to the brunt of sticks while maintaining their musical tone.

Big Bang for the Buck

I have owned many brands of cymbals in the 45 years I have been playing. This set is not your high ends Zildjan brand that costs thousands of dollars, but they have great tone, plenty of sustain, and are great quality in the manufacturing. I recommend that you at least go to Guitar Center and listen to them before you spend a huge amount of money. I took a chance and just ordered them for my new kit and am completely satisfied with each and everyone in the set.

Good for the price and Biginners

I have been playing for over 40 years, I have played professionally for 12 years. I bought these when I purchased a complete new kit. I purchased better drums and added better cymbals down the road. I like a deal like anyone else. and Great cymbals have become very expensive. I have recently combine a few of the HCS with the Zildjain S series. I use the 20 in med. ride, the 16 in crash, 10 in splash the 8 in bell along with the S series. The S series are louder, have a much longer sustain, crisper, but do cost more than the HSC. next on my list are the A custom.

if ya wanna outfit your set make it look pretty this is the set, lots of options. Sounds quality is satisfactory. Most beginners will crash the heck out of their cumbals & gear so quality sound wont matter. When you're ready to 'play' your kit, step up to Zildjians or Paiste!

Don't want to use your expensive gig cymbals for practice? Get this set and don't look back! That's what I did,but what I wasn't expecting was to be blown away at the quality, sound, and amount of cymbals you get for the price. The only cymbal Meinl needs to take back to the drawing board is the China, out of this entire set it's the only cymbal I don't use when practicing. I've heard clawing nails on chalk boards that sound better than the china, but every other cymbal is a winner.

  • Best budget cymbal pack ever!!
