I tried these on a 21" Mega Bell Ride just to see how effective they are. Both of them on the cymbal took 95% of cymbal sustain away (waaaaay too much imo). One of them takes about 45% away. If you play jazz or very small gigs these will work if you want to tone down your cymbals.

I thought these would work as described, unfortunately they did not. Perhaps they're designed for anything other than the Byzance line of cymbals, I don't know. They are powerful magnets so I use them to hold papers on my fridge.

These tuners are completely underated. I have always used gaffers tape to try and achieve the tone I wanted. Didn't know these existed. They Ork freaking great and I'm ordering more. Omg they can achieve any tone level desired. Need your cymbals toned down? There is no better way. The vinyl coating protects the cymbal, looks good and don't get in the way. I've recommended them to everyone I know.
