MEINL Percussion Mallet Pair with Large Felt Tips, Maple Handle

AS I ALREADY FIGURED, MALLET HEADS WERE TOO HARD, SO THAT ASIDE..... STICKS ARE WAY TOO SHORT, REPEAT WAY TOO SHORT. MIGHT BE FINE FOR A REALLY YOUNG PERCUSSIONIST ( 6 TO 10 YR OLD) BUT FOR MY NEEDS AT CHURCH, NOT SO GOOD. KINDA THOUGHT THAT BUYING THAT NAME BRAND WOULD MAKE THEM A BETTER BUY BUT ALAS, NOT SO. BUT ON THE GOOD SIDE THE PRICE WAS FAIRLY GOOD AND THATS THE MAIN REASON FOR THE 2 STAR RATING. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

If for nothing else the price is why you should buy this kit alone. after i saw the reviews, got it home, set it up and rocked it, it was exactly like everyone else said it was. relatively sturdy and good quality rack, sound is good. Module layout is user friendly and you can figure it out in a snap. And most of all my playing has already gone to the next level because i live in an apartment and can practice anytime i want which for a drummer is Huge! now hitting triplets like water all cause i was self conscious about letting go! Highly recommend this kit. to anyone of all levels. especially little drummers coming up who you want to keep occupied!
