Why is the output jack a female xlr combo, when audio out is universally male??

This percussion merger is confusing me. The description says "combine multiple percussion instruments into one channel" .... That really doesn't give much info. What percussion instruments have a 1/4" plug (other than an electronic drum kit)? Is it meant for use with mono or stereo cables? Also, it seems odd to limit the description to only percussion. Seems like this would be better suited for adding multiple keyboards into one channel. Please don't take this as an insult. Im not complaining. Im just extremely confused what this thing is actually meant to do. It keeps coming up as a suggested retail advertisement, and its got my curiosity up (which means your advertising is apparently working 🙂). I've searched youtube with no results. Blessings, Jason.
I’m sorry, I don’t know. They provide no specs, It appears to be a simple passive mixer:: 6 in and 1 out.
