    I bought the Meinl Louis Conte, 3 conga set, and needed 3 sets of these risers to place my drums on the carpet. They worked perfectly. If I have to set them on concrete or a dirty floor these also work fine as well. Thank you GS for great service, products and prices

    I know they say these are conga risers but I'm currently using them on a djembe so that I can sit and play without having to hold the drum between my legs. So far they work really well on my carpet. They don't hold the drum solidly in place because there is some wiggle room but they work.

    i bought one set of these for my tumba, to see how they worked. so far they are great - they're sturdy - not just soft rubber, they went on well, the drum is stable (even using just 3) and of course it really helps the sound to have it raised by this amount. i haven't had to move the drum a lot yet so i'm not sure if there'll be any issues taking them off and on over the long term (hence the only 4 stars) ... but i've bought a second set to use on the conga too. i'm very pleased so far.
