The MEINL HCS Super Cymbal Set offers a unique combination of quality and value, and is perfect for a first percussion foray or a great upgrade to a limited entry set. They are made from MS63 alloy for a warm, harmonic and balanced sound.

This pack features a warm, responsive set of 14" HCS hi-hat cymbals, powerful 16" and 18" crashes, and a dry and bright 20" ride with a slow wash. For the drummer who wants to experiment with effects from the outset, this set also includes a trashy 12" China for brash, explosive texture. As an added value, this outfit includes a raspy and washy 16" trash crash.

    I bought this set as an upgrade for my starter drum set after exhaustive online research for the best recommendations and there is a reason why this set is a top seller. I'm just getting back into the drumming game after a 20+ year hiatus, and was trained on a basic set of 16" and 18" crashes, hi-hat and a ride cymbal, all Zildjian brand. This set is at least as good as the old Zildjians I remember, and I was glad I upgraded to the trash and china cymbals as they have been a fun addition. If you're tired of your cheap starter cymbals, you will be blown away with this set. I can't speak to any comparisons with nicer quality sets as I've never played any high quality cymbals.

    Great cymbals for the money. Had a set of Sabian SR cymbals and these sound just as good for the cost. Needed something that wasn't very cutting due to the type of music i'm playing , Americana/Blues/Songwriter and they sound great.

    An amazing deal with some quality cymbals. They aren't perfect and I have broken this series cymbal before, but they are great for a practice kit.
