Great Alternative to Higher Priced Sticks!
submitted15 years ago
byBill Brower
fromColumbia, SC
Like many tamborim sticks Meinlۡs no-nonsense design features a rounded, tapered base, it fits and sits nicely in the palm. Meinl has chosen to use three fused, as opposed to spread out, rods ultimately resulting in a sharper accent and generally more distinct-sounding strokes, both of which help to cut through the mix during loud jam sessions. Unfortunately these sticks only come in two finishing options: red and black, however, the cheap price and comfortable design make these sticks a nice alternative to their more expensive counterparts, and a great addition to any samba percussionistۡs stick arsenal. Note that if you are not a fan of the fused stick design I would highly recommend Remo sticks.

Meinl makes a very affordable Tambourine stick, It's great for the tambourine player who is just starting out and needs something durable yet functional. Great product for the price
