    Use this for my cajon when I play it as a converted drum kit with a bass pedal. Love that the shaft is shorter. Other drum beaters have too much attack and rely on using towels to tame the "slap". This one is perfect! Nice big, boomy sound without any aggressive attack/"slap" sound when striking the front plate of a cajon.
