The MEINL X-Hat Auxiliary Hihat Arm keeps a pair of hi-hat or stack cymbals in a stationary position anywhere on a drum set up. The clamp and boom arm make it easy to attach and position at any height or angle. The tension adjustment makes it possible to finely adjust the degree of opening of the top and bottom cymbal.

    This is the perfect Aux Hi-Hat in my opinion. The mount is easy to attach to any stand or tom mount. It's very sturdy and well built. The tilt assemble is just the right size and doesn't take up a lot of space so you can put a set of Hi-Hats any where you want. This will hold the heavy weight cymbals with ease. Really glad I bought this item.

    for a second pair of hats this attachment is perfect. I have 13" hi hats on it and it is more than strong enough to keep them in place.

    I recently picked up some Paiste PSX Swiss Hi Hats as an aux pair so I needed an adjustable mount arm. I researched online and read the reviews on the different well known brands and decided on this one based on reviews and it offered more adjustability compared to the other mounts. I'm glad I bought this it.. well worth it and a quality piece. Definitely would recommend it.

    Upgraded my high hats but wanted to still make use of the old set so I purchased this. It is extremely useful when playing double bass pedals. Quick and easy setup with excellent ability to adjust the tension on the hats for sound preference. Well worth the investment.

    It would require a different connection style to attach to a bass drum.
