MXR Classic Drive Pack Guitar Effects Pedal Bundle

Description
The MXR Classic Drive Pack gives you two of MXR's most popular overdrive pedals in one convenient bundle. With the M86 Classic Distortion and GCM66 Classic Overdrive, you'll have a full palette of organic tube-like overdrive and distortion tones at your feet. Developed from the ground up using high-quality components, these pedals provide everything from subtle grit to massive crunch while maintaining exceptional clarity and touch sensitivity.
Shape Your Overdrive
The M86 Classic Distortion gives you full control over your overdrive with Output, Tone and Distortion knobs. Dial in sweet, articulate overdrive or massive distortion ideal for hard rock and metal. The circuit delivers natural-sounding overdrive reminiscent of a tube amp, with enough gain for searing lead tones but enough transparency to allow your guitar's character to shine through.
Simple Tone Shaping
The GCM66 Classic Overdrive adds sustain and gain to your tone without changing your amp's natural sound. Output and Gain knobs provide complete control over the amount of overdrive, from a hint of breakup to a full roar. A single footswitch engages and disengages the effect. The GCM66's indestructible die-cast housing contains circuitry designed to complement your guitar and amp's tone rather than color it.
Essential Effects
With the M86 Classic Distortion and GCM66 Classic Overdrive, MXR has created two essential overdrive pedals built to withstand years of use. Roadworthy and stage-ready, these pedals provide the overdrive and distortion tones guitarists rely on for everything from practice to pro gigs. For two of the most popular overdrive pedals in a bundle, look no further than the MXR Classic Drive Pack.

Replaced my Ibanez overdrive

I really love the overdrive, the distortion is pretty much identical or too close to the distortion that is paired with. The prime distortion is a better bet and together they are beefy and sound delicious. I bagged my Ibanez overdrive and am sticking with the mxr, much more powerful sounding. I'm happy and I would recommended buying them separate.
I would buy again

Not sure the quality. Does not take batteries and does not come with a power cord. No where in the description or on the box does this indicate it does not come with everything.

Guitar pedals, I play electric guitar sometimes my Mitchell 350 and sometimes my Les Paul epi custom. I also have a mustang lt25. Now question is I'm a big fan of Santana and learning to play couple of songs yet I feel the sound needs help. Lt25 isn't providing the sound I'm looking for so now I'm looking into purchasing the pedal (s) to get more of the sound. Can you please recommend wich pedal I should be purchasing. Thank you Don
I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. What "sound" are you looking for? "Santana" is not a sound. Do you use any pedals now?submitted9 months ago
