Keep your pedals powered all night long with the MXR DC Brick, a revamp of the DCB10. Now under the MXR brand, the new DC Brick features all of the short circuit and overload protection of the original but now handles twice the power, allowing you to use virtually any combination of effects. Additionally, each 9v output has a red LED that illuminates if there is a short so you can quickly identify and troubleshoot any power problems. The MXR DC Brick has eight 9v outputs and two 18v outputs, a change from the DCB10's seven 9v outputs and three 18v outputs. And of course, the AC adapter and all necessary cables to connect pedals to the unit are included.

clean power

Ordered one of these a few weeks ago after I realized that a 5 chain onespot wasn't gonna keep up with my growing pedal chain. Works really well, powering everything from my 18v full drive 2 to my custom comp. Really clean power supply, and not a huge bulking box like the voodoo labs power supplies. If my board keeps growing, I'll definitely be picking another one up.

Not the Best Option

The MXR DC Brick does not have isolated power outputs, so it results in loud hums, hisses, and buzzes coming from your effect pedals. I had it for a year, it effectively powered all of my pedals, but the power wasn't clean and my tone suffered. I highly suggest looking into an **isolated** power supply such as the voodoo lab one. Similar price but much more effective in keeping your tone dead quiet.

    This is basically an overpriced chain cable. Still comes with a single large wall wart that ACTUALLY generates 18VDC and this box just has some basic circuits to split it. Incredibly loud hums and hisses from my old-school pedals. I should have bought a real isolated power supply.

    It does everything I need it too and powers my board seamlessly. I used to daisy chain and it has quieted my board a good bit. Price is reasonable for a great quality product. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for powering options and to have the ability to adapt power from anywhere is pretty awesome.
