Great sound alone, better sound in pairing

I don't know high end, low end or anything in between, I just know if it sounds good vs sounding muffled or weak. MXR makes a great product and the GT-OD is another great example. Smooth clean standalone or much heavier paired with Boss DS1, I regret nothing about this purchase.
Classic design. Very quiet operation. Would purchase again.

Full bass response. Trebles are not "thin" sounding.
Best od pedal as a boost

I use this to tighten up the distortion tone on my orange and it is the best screamer style pedal I have ever tried for that. Most sound nasal and completely remove your low end but this has a more subtle mid hump and keeps your low end but tightens it up
A Fantastic Overdrive For Players At Any Level imo

From the second I tried it at a store I loved this overdrive. I was told it's similar to a Boss Super Overdrive and while I can tell that they are fairly similar, this GT OD is definitely the clear winner for me. I was also surprised with how much gain it has on tap. You can use it like a simple boost or as your rhythm or lead sound. The knobs have pretty good sweep on them. Very versatile indeed. So if you're new to overdrives, looking to get your first or don't wanna dish out a ton of money for one then you should definitely give this one a shot and see if it's for you or not.
Mediocre Tube Screamer Clone

I'm a big fan of tube screamer circuits, but this one didn't quite do it for me. It didn't have the smoothness that the others do, and it seemed somewhat untamable. I ended up selling it after trying to bond with it for a few months. If you're looking for something other than a standard Ibanez TS9, then give the EHX East River Drive a try.
