Beautiful sound for both studio use and black ops 6/music. Upgraded from 3inch to these and the bass and overall spl is astounding. I would highly recommend these for their msrp. Clean bass with max volume and 0 distortion. My kids love them and with bluetooth it makes them worth their weight in gold

Mackie makes good products but these are definitely on their cheaper, budget-friendly side. Some people complain about cracking which can happen but it doesn't seem to be prevalent. Solid bass response for your basic production and demo needs. If you want high quality, stronger low-frequency response then consider other, higher-priced pairs of monitors - definitely look at 8" cones or a pair with a subwoofer. But hey, if you're getting into DJing or music recording and production then these are a good place to start and then you can sell them and invest in a more professional tier set. They're not heavy so they're easy to manage/set up and position or move around if you need to - hence the cheap price (heavier monitors are typically using higher quality components and project those lower frequencies with greater output).

  • I would prolly not buy this item again.

I use the product for dj at home and the speakers are already making cracking sounds. I don't even have it on its highest volume and they cracc during some songs. They are decent and pretty loud for the price but not long lasting for what i need them for. I've had for about 3 weeks.
