Unmatched Control

Mackie’s DRM212 active powered speaker offers a level of control that is unmatched in its class. The DRM Control Dashboard gives access to more parameters than competing speakers. Built to Last

The DRM212 is made with premium materials. Its robust cabinet features 15 mm plywood and internal bracing. This improves durability as well as acoustics. The DRM212 also has a tour-grade textured coating to protect it from scrapes and dings from life on the road. Its heavy-duty steel grille is powder-coated. I was in my local GC picking up strings as a factory demo was happening for the store sales guys. They were kind enough to let me hang out and listen. They had an entire setup of Mackie DRM speakers and they were playing them loud and comparing them to all the competitors. Everyone in the room was blown away by how these speakers sounded and how they performed relative to the other speakers at similarly prices. The highlight from my point of view was the bass performance. Really tight and low. I'm not in the market for a new setup today but thought I'd drop a review for those who are. I'd totally recommend going to a store and listening to these. They really were impressive.
