Just a simple and great product!! (w/good sound quality)
I'm a synthesist, and I play thru 3 different channels. This mixer is just great for me, because it's super lightweight, have a small footprint, and it sound water-clear. The knobs had a good feel feel, and you almost instantly forget the plastic side panels. I've been reading really bad reviews of this product, but all of them have in common that the user asks for things that this mixer just don't provide (and there isn't any other mixer in this type that will do it). So, for what it is... and how well it perform: A solid 5 out of 5

Not for professional use
I purchased this mixer to sum my keyboard set up (two keyboards) for live performance. The first unit I purchased quit working within a week. The Guitar Center store was really helpful and replaced this unit. The second unit started to only send the stereo signal every once in a while. It would drop the left channel throughout the set which made my levels drop substantially randomly while I was playing - affecting both where I was in the FOH mix and my monitor mix. This was so frustrating that it prompted me to write a review on the item, which I haven't done before, to protect anyone else from making my mistake. Definitely not worth trying to save a little money.

I have this set up for several uses at a single desk - game console audio, inputs for my synths. Takes up small footprint on my desk, very simple to use. Great little mixer!
The Mix5 is great for small pedalboards.

I have a Bass pedalboard that includes an MXR M80 - a bass DI box - along with a BOSS TU-3 tuner, a BOSS LMB-3 bass limiter enhancer, and a TC Electronics Forcefield compressor. I needed a small mixer to enable the use of headphones as the DI Box doesn't provide a headphone output. The Mix5 fits perfectly in this rig. ;-)
I would buy again.

I use this mixer to balance 2 keyboards in my stage rig. One of my must-haves was 2 sets of outputs, as I use an active speaker as a monitor/amp and I also need outputs into the main board. This mixer gives me that - I use the tape output for my monitor, and the main outputs go to the PA. I've only had it for 2 days but I used it at band rehearsal last night, and it worked fine. And the price was right.
