Professional audio features in the size of an iPad

This is Mackie's 3rd Version of this very popular compact Mixer / Audio Interface. This compact 10 channel Mixer offers 4 pro quality Onyx Mic Preamps, 6 additional Line Level Inputs, 24Bit-192kHz USB recording and 24 killer Effects! It offers true 48 volt Phantom Power for all 4 Mic preamps, a whopping 60dB of input gain, and has a locking DC power connector and a real power switch. It has 4 true insert jacks on the first 4 channel strips that allow you to use your own external effects devices and even guitar pedals! It has two compressors on the first two Mic Pre-amps that really help tame hot vocal performances. The first two channels also have HiZ Input Switches that allow you to plug your passive electric guitar and basses directly into the channel without the need for a separate DI box. It can do Multitrack recording as well as Mix Minus Podcasting, Live Streaming, and Loopback, all in a chassis the size of your average iPad Pro!

1st unit would only work with 1/4 unbalanced plugs...the trs balanced 1/4 had a faint tinny sound coming out....xlr connections worked .returned for second unit ..after 1/2 hour use the fx LEDs stopped working...these 2 units were purchased in store and I noticed the packaging was open ...they seemed used when I specifically ordered new....I tried for a third unit and this time they got it from the warehouse...seems to be ok so far...fingers crossed..all in all I had to make six trips to store to pick up each unit ..not fun

This is great for small live gigs, for instance 2 guitars and 2 vocals. And it also works great as an audio input for recording.

This Mixer Is A Very Easy Unit To Set Up.. After The Unit Is Set Up The DJ Should Review the video regarding setup - You Tube - which is step by step for review & will help the DJ regarding use of the mixer, & also will answer all use of the mixer questions before their next Gig / Performance. If The Videos Do Not Answer All Of The Questions....Then Call The 1 - 800 Number.

How to play back from MacBook Pro.I don't get any sound from the MacBook to the mixer. It's getting the signal but sound.

If your Mackie ProFX10v3 mixer is receiving a signal from your MacBook Pro (you can see the signal LEDs light up) but you’re not hearing any sound, the issue is likely in the routing or monitoring. Here's a checklist to get sound playing back from your MacBook Pro through the Mackie mixer: 1. USB Connection: Ensure the USB cable is properly connected between the MacBook Pro and the USB port on the mixer. On Mac, go to System Settings > Sound > Output, and select ProFX10v3 (or "USB Audio CODEC") as the output device. 2. USB Playback to Channels: The ProFX10v3 allows USB audio from your computer to be routed to the mixer. You need to select where that audio goes: On the mixer: Look for the "USB 1-2 TO MAIN" button or "USB 1-2 TO CH 9/10" switch. USB 1-2 TO MAIN: Routes USB audio directly to the main mix. USB 1-2 TO CH 9/10: Routes USB audio to channels 9/10, where you can EQ and adjust level like any other input. If you want control via mixer faders: Engage the "USB 1-2 TO CH 9/10" button. Bring up the CH 9/10 fader. Press the "Main Mix" button on that channel (if applicable). Bring up the Main Mix fader. If you want quick playback without using mixer faders: Engage the "USB 1-2 TO MAIN" button. Bring up the Main Mix fader. Ensure Monitor level or Phones level is up if you're using headphones. 3. Monitor and Headphone Settings Make sure Main Mix is selected as your monitor source. If you're using headphones, ensure the PHONES/CTRL ROOM level is up. 4. Check the Software Output On the Mac, open Audio MIDI Setup (Applications > Utilities) and confirm: Output format is 44.1 or 48 kHz (higher rates may not be supported). Output is set to stereo. In Logic, Pro Tools, or GarageBand (if you're using a DAW), make sure the output is assigned to Output 1-2. Test Try playing audio from: A system sound (YouTube, QuickTime, etc.) GarageBand or your DAW If you see level meters moving on the mixer but hear no sound, the issue is in monitoring or routing to speakers/headphones.
