No Native Bluetooth (Confirmed) The Mackie Thump215 does not have built-in Bluetooth. It’s a traditional powered speaker with: 2 combo XLR/TRS inputs 1 stereo 1/8″ aux input 1 XLR output (mix out) How to Make It Bluetooth-Compatible You can easily add Bluetooth streaming with an external Bluetooth audio receiver. Here are two popular and effective ways: 1. Plug-in Bluetooth Receiver (for aux input) Device: iFi Zen Blue, BOSS BT-Dual, or a basic Bluetooth-to-3.5mm RCA adapter. How: Connect to the 1/8″ aux input or an input channel via 1/4" TRS or XLR using adapters. Purpose: Lets you stream audio (music, backing tracks, etc.) wirelessly from your phone or tablet. Pros: Easy setup No need to modify the speaker Cons: Does not allow Bluetooth linking between two speakers No control over speaker DSP or volume remotely 2. Dual-Channel Bluetooth Receiver (for stereo linking) Device example: Rockville BT-Link, Aluratek ABC02F, or similar How: Plug a receiver into each Thump215’s input, pair them to the same Bluetooth source (some adapters allow stereo sync). Pros: Wireless stereo audio with basic pairing Still portable Cons: No true master/slave speaker control Requires individual volume management per speaker. Use something like the iFi Zen Blue (for pro audio quality) or a compact Bluetooth 5.0 receiver with 3.5mm/RCA output. Plug it into your Thump215’s aux input and you're set for streaming.
