I ordered this music stand to clamp on the leg of my pedal steel guitar. Fits great and it's sturdy.

  • Great product for the serious musician!

I really, really love how this stand solved my major problem in "where the heck do I put my music when I'm playing drums?" I'm a church music minister and I have to learn or follow 3-5 new songs per week; this stand made holding my music together so easy. For those who with a standard 5-piece set who use cymbals just behind your front toms, consider connecting the stand to your ride cymbal's stand on your right side and using the boom arm of your ride cymbal to extend the cymbal itself closer to you. This will make the ride closer to you and have the music stand just above it, slightly to the right.

I couldn't figure out how to get a music stand to be positioned right above the toms as opposed to behind them. This music stand solved the problem. It fastens onto the supporting hardware for the toms and can be adjusted and angled to suit your setup. I place my Boss DB-90 metronome on it too. As a drummer, it's important for me to not only hear the metronome, but to see the digital pendulum. I could never find a good spot for it that would enable me to view the pendulum comfortably while I'm playing. Lastly, I don't have room for a stand in my practice space (it's 9' x 4' - see my uploaded photo). Since this stand doesn't take up any floor space, it's ideal for me. I highly recommend.
