You need these stands!

I teach Youth Band at my Church and needed something besides a chair or tabletop for my kids to put their music on to be able to see it. After thinking I remembered we used Manhasset stands in school. If these stands could take High School kids banging on them and still work than I knew these were the stands for me. Very reasonably priced and easy to use, the kids ( and me ) love'em! Spend your money wiseley and by Manhasset!

    Rock solid Manhasset stands like us old-school folks remember from church or the band room? Not quite. Heavy gauge steel desk replaced with bendy aluminum. The rest may be lighter gauge metal s well. Gone is that "last forever/built like a tank" feel. They still look great and do the job well but surely won't take the abuse the originals could. The ancient ones I just re-painted and lubed may outlive this new set, but we needed more stands. If there's a plus maybe it's that our new ones are lighter or at least not as top heavy. For church or school use the old ones were perfect. These wimpier modern ones are still probably your best bet unless you have time and energy to hunt down a bunch of old-style ones and pretty them up- yeah right. In the end this was a very worthwhile purchase considering the price of the 6 pack. PS- assembly is a breeze.

    We used these for all worship team musicians and vocalist on stage. This really cleaned up the look that we had. Product is great and I had multiple comments about the great appearance after the first Sunday that we used them. Easy to assemble and used them right away.

    This is the stand that you'll find in just about every school music room, for good reason. They're sturdy and can withstand constant and sometimes less-than-gentle handling. The "magic clutch" system is, of course, their main feature -- just raise or lower the desk to the desired height. One reviewer picked "unstable" as a "Con", but that may be because the specialized use, displaying books for public perusal. I just realized that if you're considering the six-pack, you're probably already familiar with the product, so just buy it!!
