    It didn't say what size it was (16 inches wide), so I bought one to see what it was like. Nothing fancy but it works great. I used a separate music stand to keep picks, pens, capo, slide and other things on. Now someone can actually use it as a music stand. I have an extra wide music stand so I am getting another one for me and one for my favorite bass player (my wife).

    I use this music stand extender at my House of Worship for rehearsals and performances. I still use a binder and lead sheets printed on paper, often spanning 2 or 3 pages. I use the extender to hold guitar picks, a pencil and other items. This leaves my notebook and lead sheets free from obstacles. It is a very simple, lightweight and inexpensive solution.

    Wish it come in colors to match the stand but it works so well - My Melodica fits perfectly - it also prevents my music from falling off the stand.
