Manhasset stands are the industry standard, but this one has the extra lip which is perfect for holding extra gear like a capo or harmonica. It's heavy duty but not physically heavy. Love it.
Great music stand!

This stand comes equipped with an auxiliary shelf. We already own one like this and because of the positive experience ordered another. That shelf can hold anything you need for your playing. I put finger picks, tuners, capos, pencils and anything else I need on that shelf. These stands are very durable, useful, stands. They work well in windy conditions outside and are generally head and shoulders above other stands in durability and ease of use. They are not as easy to haul around. A small price to pay for the service they provide.
