Falcon is a complete line of pro-level hardware from Mapex with the features and conveniences needed by pros in the studio, on tour, or in the woodshed. The Falcon design was influenced and road tested by a team of artists who want an incredibly smooth feel and simple adjustability. The settings are dialed-in at the factory, so it feels good right out of the bag with only minor adjustments needed to fit individual tastes. That means more time playing and less time adjusting.

The Falcon Boom Stand from Mapex is equipped with features like memory markings on the boom tilter and a Super-Glide stepless cymbal tilter with 360 degree rotation ability. The stand also offers lockable, quick-release wing nut for quick setup and breakdown, along with a hideaway boom for compact versatility.

    I use these in my studio. They are fantastic. Very easy to use. I especially like the tension that can be used to keep the boom arm from flopping when you loosen the large wingnut. Very sturdy. I am currently using one as a double tom mount. It holds my 8 and 10 inch gretsch toms very well.

    Great quality. Especially love the quick release for the cymbal. Folds up extremely nice for transport. Love the smooth action on the tilter it also has a tensioner which is fantastic when adjusting the tilt it wont flop on you. Holds up very well under double duty as it has my 10 inch tom mounted to it as well.

    This is a professional product worthy of studio and stage. It stays put and is totally adjustable with quick set up and breakdowns. It's not the lightest, but very dependable on n off the stage.

    The Falcon bf1000 boom stand is a great deal and a great stand. From the moment I took it out of the package I could tell I was going to be happy with this purchase. From the bottom up! The legs allow for a nice sturdy wide base that does not want to tip or move, the rubber feet are adequate to keep the stand in the position you set it in. The boom arm adjustment on this stand is great. By loosening one wing nut, you can easily adjust your cymbal to position anywhere you want it. There are tick marks on the adjustment, so once you set it once, you have a visual aid to always set it in the right spot in the future. Although I didn't think much of it at the time, The Quick Release cymbal wing nuts have made life much easier. No more dropping wing nuts on the stage while setting up or tearing down. Overall the stand is great. I had a set of stands from another manufacture and these boom stands have blown my mind.
