collapse expand iconDescription

The Falcon hi-hat stand from Mapex is a new breed of stand, putting the emphasis on functional simplicity and an incredibly smooth feel. The stand includes a quick-release wing nut for easy installation or removal of a cymbal. An adjustable footboard allows multiple angles and heights to adjust to your playing style, while a tension adjuster offers a wide range of options to increase or decrease response and return. The stand also includes a foldable footboard for easy transport and high-friction rubber feet (with retractable spikes) increase traction on all surfaces.

Falcon is a complete line of pro-level hardware from Mapex with the features and conveniences needed by pros in the studio, on tour or in the woodshed. The Falcon design was influenced and road tested by a team of artists who want an incredibly smooth feel and simple adjustability. The settings are dialed-in at the factory, so it feels good right out of the bag with only minor adjustments needed to fit individual tastes. That means more time playing and less time adjusting.

My Hi Hat never arrived, stolen from the box two weeks ago still no replacement. I canceled the hat and two boom stands that were back ordered two weeks ago.

Works great with my double bass setup. Need a stand that i could remove the legs on, one of the few on the market that has this feature.

  • I would buy this again, but built so well won't have to.

I have a iron cobra 900 pedal and was going to get the matching hat, but with all my research I found this to be the best. I did a year and a half of research before I made my decision and Mapex won. I also have the Mapex armory Redwood burst kit with a 8" rack tom. 3 up 2 down. Awesome

I gave the Mapex Falcon HiHat stand a lukewarm review last year, but gotta say after having spent close to a year with it, I'm very pleased with it! I recently switched over to a double-bass set-up temporarily and while figuring out how to use one of those clamps to attach the hihat to the bass drum hoop, I realized the legs are able to fully detach from this stand...a feature not found on many other models! I've had zero issues with the stand and appreciate the convenience Mapex built into it...also, it's quite sturdy - especially for a two-leg stand, but doesn't require a lot of heft to pull off this trick...nice!

  • Buy it again and again .

Great two legged stand with all the bells and whistles. Extremely adaptable to any setup or situation. Has allowed for greater use of my double bass pedal. Quick release clutch tension adjustments swiveling leg as well as removable leg for attaching to bass drum if wanted. All the way around great product.

  • Just awesome.

The quality of this thing is supreme. The added features are the best. The swiveling legs, extended foot board, and footboard angle adjustments really allow endless positions for the stand. What's even better is you can actually remove the legs and attach the unit to your bass drum. All in all this gets the big thumbs up. The description really doesn't do this stand justice. It is so much better. I recommend this stand to everyone. Even if you don't play a double bass it is worth having.
