    These were purchased for our high school. The chest plate is plastic and flimsy. After just 2-3 seasons of use, the foam padding compressed offering little support. The aluminum bracket that holds the drum became bent due to the weight of the Mapex snare. Also, the adjustable joints do not stay in place, and when you try to tighten, the bolts sometimes get stripped.
