Markbass

collapse expand iconDescription

Never again do you have to worry about leaning your bass against your cab only to have it bumped and losing your favorite axe when the neck cracks from the fall. With the Bass Keeper strap, when you're not using your guitar, it's securely fastened with Velcro straps that attach to the side or handle of your cab and around the neck of the guitar. It'll comfortably rest there so you can rest easy too. It's also a great way to store your back up bass during a gig.

Nice invention. I may find a utility for it afterall, but not with my combo amp, the markbass cmd 121p! The reason is that there is not enough room.

This is one of those things that you ask yourself, why I didn't think about this before? It is a great product with quality to match. It did surpass my expectations, but it is a MARKBASS product so I shouldn't be surprise. I trust the keeper will keep my Warwicks right where I leave them, next to my MARKBASS amp/cabs. It will reduce the number of stuff you have to carry around; less weight to swing around. Now, you will only need to take your bass, your amp/cab or combo, and your pedal(s). The bass keeper would be inside your bag or case. Look tight just as your playing should be.

Purchased the Basskeeper a couple weeks ago. I was impressed of the workmanship quality of the basskeeper. Tried it out at a practice last weekend with it attached to my Ampeg Portabass 10x2 cabinet. I attached it only using the velcro attachment on the side. The velcro attachment grips securely to the carpet on the cabinet. I kept it attached to the side of the cabinet during transport. It worked very well and kept my bass secure during downtime between jam sessions. This will replace my small foldable metal bass stand that I used to take.

Bought 2 of these and love them.... one on each side of my CMD 102 P. This way I don't have to carry around a bulky stand which ALWAYS takes up too much stage space. I think maybe these are a little expensive, but I haven't seen anything Markbass that isn't. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend this! Very handy.
