I must be the only person who has purchased this combo because it's been seven months and there still hasn't been a review, so here goes. Back last December, I bought the 112 version of this model and had it shipped to my home. As I brought it in, I could hear a loud rattle coming from inside. Upon inspection I found the speaker magnet had come unglued from the driver and my heart sank. I had a gig at an elementary school coming up the following week and had planned on using it. Thr next day I took the combo down to my nearest GC to drop it off and figure out what to do. They had one of the 112s on the floor and the 115. Bad voodoo had already crept in my head about the smaller combo, so I worked out a deal (no money involved, but new cables) and ponied up the extra cash for a combo that had just showed up and hadn't been played. Home we went, and other than the bulky build to lug around even though it wasn't heavy, I found it to be an excellent amp. Plenty of power, tons of bottom end, useful preamp features, and a terrific DI for recording made it worth the higher cost. I used it for the gig and its distinctive Markbass tone came out. I call it an old school tone that still gives a modern vibe. Along with the DI Out, I J ad no trouble filling the stage or gymnasium. As long as the speaker magnet doesn't make a break for the border, and I don't think it will, this combo will be with me for a while as it works great with my Hofner as well as my Jazz bass. It seems to be flying under the radar, but add it to your browsing list and you may be impressed for the money invested!
