Markbass Kimandu 4 Richard Bona Signature Bass Green

Description
Woods
Body: MarkBass chose a two-piece alder body, one of the most used wood thanks to its round and sparkling tonal characteristics, still keeping a standard weight. Body and matching headstock are Green painted, a color enhancing the design charm and that is also a trademark of the whole Ninja series.
Neck: Canadian maple with flat cut and two graphite bars to offer maximum stability, with a pretty comfortable profile and dual action truss rod adjustable on the headstock.
Fretboard: Maple, 34" scale, 24 ultra carefully refinished frets and black GraphTech nut.
Hardware
On the Kimandu version they’ve chosen high quality custom machine heads, 20:1 ratio, ultra light, precise and reliable. MarkBass picked a high quality Custom bridge as well with zinc saddles wrenched on the bridge base to get the best sustain and sound transfer.
Pickups
The Kimandu version soapbar pickups have been custom built on Markbass specs to perfectly match our electronic to get smooth bass, right focus on the mid range and bright and defined treble.
Electronics
The Kimandu bass features a Markbass custom electronic as well, simple, intuitive and effective even on extreme settings.
Controls are VOLUME/VOLUME/TONE (with an active/passive switch on Tone) letting an incredible pickups blending capability compared to a regular Blend control and with active BASS/MID/TREBLE… so you’re not going to have resounding bass or blowing treble. The frequency values have been chosen to offer a wide range of tones that you can use on any setting. The TONE control (working also in the passive mode) has been defined by Richard as the “G Point” because of its accurate efficacy letting to move from smooth and warm tones to bright and hi-fi ones, everything in a one of a kind “sensual” way.
Includes gig bag.

Really is a great Bass

First I had to return this Bass because unfortunately I am disabled in a wheelchair and like a lot of Basses it just didn't work for a large man in a wheelchair. Only wish more models were available in stores. Now the good stuff. Wow I am not a great player but I was able to sure sound like on with this Bass the few times I played it. You can dial-in great sounds and it played faster than I expected with a D shaped neck. Also, it feels like a Bass costing twice or more it's price. It's a very high quality Bass, the best I ever played, just wish it fit me in the chair. The green is striking good looking. It also comes with a good quality Gig bag and tools. You will enjoy this Bass. If it was cut more like a Precision Bass I would have never let it go.
