The best bass I have ever played or owned. Unlike most 5 strings, the low B is not floppy and sounds great. FWIW, I bought mine used from Guitar Center.

This bass exceeded what I expected for mark bass in the line of bass guitars. They make great amps and cabinets but I never imagined them to put out such a nicely crafted instrument. Everything from the sound, look and feel, this bass meets the mark of a boutique crafted bass.

I play in a trio, typically playing small venues. I'm using a Fender BXR25 as an amp indoors and a Bassmark Jeff Berlin CMD151P outdoors. Played it at a gig for the first time last week, wonderful intonation and feel. Lots of compliments and inquiries about the instrument. The actual color is somewhat paler than the site picture, but still a work of art. Tip - wait for a sale to get a discount code. I saved a lot of money when I ordered online. It's a winner!
