The JCM25/50 Silver Jubilee Series was produced in 1987 to celebrate 25 years of Marshall Amplification and 50 years of Jim Marshall being in the music business. The 2555 model was reissued in 2015 as the 2555X.
Inspired by this acclaimed series, the Mini Jubilee 2525C 1x12 combo and 2525H head combine all of the 2555X Jubilee preamp features and styling in a lower power, mini design.

And now, to accompany the 2555X and the 2525H Mini Jubilee heads, Marshall has created the 2536 2x12 Silver Jubilee speaker cabinet. The 2536 speaker cabinet features classic Jubilee styling: silver vinyl covering with Marshall script logo, name plaque and side-grip carrying handles for easier transportation.

The 140W 2536 is loaded with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and is 8 Ohm mono/16 Ohm stereo.

    Currently used with either a JCM2000 DSL100 head or SV20H for live performance. Sits in the mix perfectly, a sound engineers dream. A manageable half-stack that sounds massive. IMO, the tone of the 2536 benefits from being 100% birch plywood w/ plywood back (the 1936V has an MDF back)

    I purchased thinking I would swap out the speakers. I put in Greenbacks, Standard Celestion V30s, G1235XCs, Golds, A Types. None stacked up tonally vs the Marshall custom vintage 30s - which definately are different than standard V30s. I was worried the 20 watt mini was not going to properly drive this 140 watt cab and that perhaps the greenbacks would fare better at a total of 50 watt rating vs the 20 watt rating of the amp. Don't get me wrong the greenbacks were good - but the Marshall vintage 30s were better. Not tried it with the 100 watt Jubilee amp but if I had one I'd start with this cab. At some point contemplating getting a second mini to run through the stereo option on this cab. At lower volume helps to boost treble and bass. At high volumes it helps to back them off. Impressive cleans, crunch and leads. Cab makes them all sound awesome!

    Best sounding 2x12 so far for my hand built 18 watt smokin' Joe ii head, incredible balance of creaminess and bite.....nice
