Marshall's MG50GFX 50W 1x12 combo amp delivers remarkable power and performance for guitarists of all levels. The MG50GFX is equipped with 50W of power and a custom 12" speaker to provide rich, resonant tone that can fill a venue. It features four switchable channels—Clean, Crunch, OD1 and OD2—that offer a spectrum of tones from crisp cleans to high-gain overdrive. Built-in effects, including reverb, delay, phaser, flanger and chorus, allow you to sculpt your tone with ambiance and depth. An emulated headphone output lets you practice in silence, while an AUX input lets you jam along to your favorite tracks.

Iconic Marshall Styling

The MG50GFX features Marshall's iconic gold piping and metal finish for a look that is as iconic as the amp's sound. A two-button footswitch, effects loop and built-in tuner provide expanded control and convenience for live performance or recording.

Robust Tone for Any Playing Style

With 50W of power and a custom 12" speaker, the MG50GFX delivers enough volume and projection for rehearsals, studio work and live shows. The Clean channel provides pristine tones for blues and jazz, while the Crunch channel nails the classic Marshall overdrive sound. The OD1 and OD2 channels unleash heavier overdrive and distortion tones perfect for hard rock and metal.

Built-in Effects for Depth and Dimension

The MG50GFX is equipped with reverb, delay, phaser, flanger and chorus effects that allow you to add ambiance, depth and modulation to your tone. Dial in just the right amount of each effect using the dedicated controls for each channel. Create lush, spacious reverbs, dramatic delays, swooshing phasers and more. The effects loop allows you to connect additional pedals for even more tonal options.

Convenient Features for Practice and Performance

In addition to its robust tone and iconic styling, the MG50GFX provides several convenient features for practice and performance. The emulated headphone output allows for silent practice, while the AUX input lets you play along with music from your mobile device or audio player. The included two-button footswitch provides channel switching and effects on/off control, allowing you to keep your hands on your guitar. An onboard tuner ensures you're always in tune before plugging in.

Problem with this amp per reviews....is it's a Marshall but does not sound like a tube Marshall...I would bet that's because it's not a tube amplifier....I've owned every just about every model Marshall amp made. This amp will get you very close to tube tone....the pick attack is responsive...it's built like a tank...has 4 channels...and effects built in if needed...if you are looking for the Marshall tone don't overlook the dampening switch....the 50s have this where I'm pretty sure the 30 watters don't....when buying this amp take your time the tone you are searching for is there....When I first bought amp I was frustrated and was taking it back until I relaxed took my time to find my tone...sounds great with my Les Paul...Strat and Tele....be patient find your tone and enjoy...also they say tuner on amp....there is if you buy the MG pedal that is an upgrade from pedal that comes with amp....pedal that comes with amp is great but to use tuner you need the better pedal....Relax... Enjoy finding your tone

I am still getting used to this amp. The online videos help a lot and make it much easier to learn.

  • Lots of features and easy to use

Lots of effects and easy to dial in. I was able to eat downsize my rig. Sounds like a Marshall. Small enough as a practice amp but loud enough for small gigs

  • It's good for a teenager but that's it.

I would not buy this again. At first it's okay but then you discover the amp suffers from lack of tone.
