Martin

collapse expand iconDescription

The Martin 0 Soprano Uke is the smallest-sized ukulele that Martin makes, with a top, back and sides made of sinker mahogany salvaged from a river bottom in Belize. Sinker mahogany is denser and offers slightly more harmonic complexity than regular mahogany. The entire body is finished in high-quality satin lacquer. Additional appointments to the 0 Soprano Uke include a sinker mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, black TUSQ nut and black peg tuners. Comes with a softshell case.

I'm sold on sinker mahogany. I own quite a few Martin ukuleles. This instrument hits the sweetspot in my ear. The tone is incredible out of the box. Has the vintage sound with an added unique warmth that I would assume is what all the hype is about.
