Nice feel. Loud acoustically. Sounded good at times, but already at luthier for repair after one day. Needs piezo replaced and fret work done. Not what I expected from a two thousand dollar Martin.

I have only had this bass for four days now, but I have to say that I love it. The tone is so deep and rich. And man is it loud. It almost sounds like I have it plugged into an amp. I haven't tried recording with it nor have I plugged it in so I can't offer any real reviews on that aspect. But for its sheer acoustics, I would say its well worth the price.

  • After repairs this is an excellent bass

The volume of E&G strings much louder than A/D strings right out of the case. My luthier evened the bridge allowing all 4 strings to sit an equal distance from the pickup. Problem fixed & now this bass performs like it's suppose to. Sounds great!!! Just wasn't expecting to have to have it repaired right out of the box.

Didn't expect to have to take my new Martin to a luthier to get it right. Can't perform with it. Very disappointed in Martin. For the price I paid I expected it to be one of my best basses. It's not!! Maybe after I have it fixed.
