Great sound, neck will not be for everyone

The CEO-7 has a wonderfully loud, vintage sound. However, the neck was not workable for me. The issue was not the v, but the chunkiness at upper frets due to the wider bridge spacing. Action from factory was also extremely high and required adjusting. Traded in for a 000-18, very happy.
Great small guitar

This is an absolutely wonderful instrument in sound, playability, appearance, and quality. You must try it if you are looking in its price range But I absolutely hate the tuners. They are stiff and don't turn smoothly. This guitar is so good it screams out for Waverly tuners. They would be well worth the extra cost on this guitar, ~ $100. It would get 5 stars, even more, if it had waverlys rather than this sub $60 set of tuners.

I have been deliberating on getting a Martin D28 for a decade. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money but opted on the CEO 7. I couldn't be more happy. First off its gorgeous with the sunburst top and choice mahogany back and sides. The size drew me in because of comfortability and I play a lot sitting and lounging. To me it is way more comfortable than the dreadnot while not loosing any (or significant) volume. Plays like a dream. I shouldn't have have waited so long. I did opt to add an ivory arm rest and I think it just increases the big sound of this little guitar.
Love this little Martin.

I saw this guitar in the Natick GC, a Martin CEO 7, played it and loved it. I should have bought it then and there. I didn' t And so I had to order it. I have been playing it non stop ever since. It looks great, it plays great and it sounds great. It suits a wide range of material and tonality just blends in. I have several other Martins all of which are blonde and so aesthetically I welcome this pleasing brunette.
My favorite acoustic ever

I have played many Martins, Taylors, Takamines, Yamahas, etc and so far this is my favorite acoustic guitar of all time. The size is perfect. The neck feels fabulous. The sound is incredible. It is easy to sound good on this guitar. I have many guitars but I don't own one of these yet. I agree with all the positive comments I've read. The ONLY thing I wish they would change is the fret markers -- they are too small and too dark. I would like my fret markers to be huge; make them easy for my fellow players to see.
