collapse expand iconDescription

Martin Authentic Acoustic strings are engineered with the performer in mind and they will always stand up to rigorous practice and performance schedules.

Martin start with their highest tensile-strength core wire, then tin-plate it on all six strings for added corrosion resistance; because what you don’t see matters. When coupled with the highest quality wrap wire you get consistent true tone that you can count on song after song.

Available in 80/20 Bronze and 92/8 Phosphor Bronze.

I've tried all of the brands. Stuck with MA500 12-String set here for years on my Guild D4 12-String. I think these are the best sounding set, like it better than the more expensive "coated strings". They do not break, and unusually last one or two months of heavy gigging, two to three months of light gigging. Get them!

  • The strings are good, IF you have a guitar to use them on.

I can only give you past experience, They are good strings, with a warm feeling. Use for practice, and some songs I record- If I had to use in a concert? I would, and be just as confident, although, not my first choice.

  • The only acoustic strings I will use

Martin phosphor bronze are the only acoustic strings I will use. I am so glad they make 12 string. I tried another PB and they sucked. High G broke every time and the tone went dead very soon.
