Had hoped to learn patterns on the bass. So many references to other scales that I do not do well . with circular references. I just wanted to know the patterns, do not wish to play translate this from A to B to C. So sorry I bought this nothing but FRUSTRATION for me. Far to inside for an uneducated wanna be. Tore the darn thing getting it out of the slip cover. Should have been taken as a warning right there. Hindsight is so clear.

it is harder to read at a glance than say a Hal Leonard chart. you have to really study the chart before it makes sense. If I had it to do over I would have ordered a different chart.

I like the poster except the size. The poster is 24X35 and a regular poster is 24X36. Otherwise I like it for reference as I learn the Bass.

The 1 star is just for dramatic effect. The locrian mode is wrong on this chart. The part on the 'G' uses a minor 3rd instead of the major 3rd.

This chart is a great chart for teachers to have in their office. The visual aid is something that I really needed while learning the theory behind my instrument and now that I am a teacher it is very important to me that my students are able to see and hear what I am explaining. If you are a self taught bassist, this chart might seem a little cryptic. Get a friend who knows theory and talk about what you see on this chart. Scales on bass are very important so having notes like this can really help if you know how to read them.
