    This is amazing, I have been playing acoustic for 7 years and I currently and learning electric and my teacher told me this book is a must and I agree! It's helping me learn rhythm and how to read so well! YOU NEED THIS

    I am a 72 yo beginner student who wanted to learn guitar as an additional hobby. I learned music somewhat during grade school and I have been social partner dancing for the past 18 years. My guitar teacher is excellent, and I have learned quite a bit in four months time. I love the instruction and diagrams, and I thoroughly enjoy the learning experience.

    This is a great book for beginners. I never played an instrument in my life and this book provides a step-by-step guide to learning how to read and play music on a guitar. It is great if you already have a sense of how to hold a guitar, string action, and the four basic chords. Mel will help develop the fundamentals to get you to the next level. It is apparent why this style of instruction has withstood the test of time. If you are methodic, this approach is for you.
