I've played bass since I was a teenager in 1978. I've played through Orange, Peaveys, Sunn's, GK. My 1st amp was a Fender Bassman 2 x 15. The reason I bring this up is that this is by far and away the greatest amp I've ever heard. I've had for a few days now and the diversity of good sounds this makes is simply stunning.
It's an Awesome amp!

I took a star off since the first unit was DOA. I was really shocked by this, past experiences with Mesa have been great. GC exchanged the defective unit for another and it's been great. I'm using this with one traditional powerhouse Mesa 2x10 and one Mesa 4x10 for a daisy chained 6x10 set up for live gigs. This amp's ability to tone shape is killer! I traded a Darkglass MicroTubes 900 for this and I'm happy I did!

Does this head have the ability to be rack-mounted? Some heads have an optional set of brackets that allow this to be done if they are narrower that a normal 19" case. Thank you.
I'm sorry, no rack mount kit is available for tthis
