These picks are great for mandolin. If you don't want to overpower vocals, these picks keep the accompaniment at a good volume and mellow.

Every Tuesday night I play bass with a praise & worship band. For certain songs I switch to my banjo uke. I tried these picks last night for a fast-paced song on my banjolele - I was able to strum so fast, and several people told me the sound was so good. I may never play without one of these picks again.

  • Mick's Picks are the best "felt" pick for uke and guitar.

I use these picks for uke play, primarily, but they are great for guitar and probably bass. You have plenty of control with them; they are easy to grip and hold on to. As far as sound, they lessen treble and bring out mid tones. Overall you can strum harder without being too loud. Your mileage my vary, but that is why I like them. Do not think that all "felt" picks are the same. They are not. Take it from someone who has lots of lousy "felt" picks that will never get used. I don't know what Mick makes his picks from (they are not felt) but they are firm and flexible at the same time. They last forever and take on a different character as they age and get more flexible. Just try them you will like them. Well worth the money. Everyone I have given one of these picks to has later said they really liked it.
