Features & Benefits of Music Nomad's Diamond Coated Nut Files to Cut & Polish your Nut or Saddle

Music Nomad

collapse expand iconDescription

WARNING: These files cut really well! MusicNomad’s Nut Files feature a revolutionary diamond coating and round “string-shape” blade design resulting in smooth, precision cuts. They cut and polish slots at the same time and do not drift like common toothed files. The industrial, even diamond coating cuts all nut or saddle materials, such as nylon, bone, graphite and TUSQ. MusicNomad added an ergonomic handle for total comfort and control of your cut, or you can remove the blade from the handle as an alternative cutting option. This custom set comes with 6 nut file sizes for electric guitar with light strings. It even includes a compact, aluminum case.

Great product. I had my doubts about not having to polish the nut slots afterwards since i always do that on my nut jobs but after using this the slots really came out polished. No rough markings, scratches, hairline scratches anywhere. I lubricated the slots with some carmex and my trem equipped guitar has never played better. No more ping noises. Usually to achieve this level of precision would take a lot longer than what it took with this set.

    Why is the file size .028 and not .026, since light gage strings are .010, .013, .017, .026, .036, & .046?
