    I suppose it nourishes the material and it does leave it looking a tiny bit darker but, it didn't really restore the look at all. I used it on Tolex-covered cases and amps. Looking at the results, it doesn't really look like anything changed.

    I love vintage amps. There is no better product that I have found for making 40+ year old Tolex look brand new. So when you buy that grimey looking find of the century, rest assured that this product will restore the vinyl to a like-new appearance by safely and deeply cleaning it and giving it a factory-fresh shine. Great for power, speaker and guitar cords, too. It restores their original feel and flexibility.

    Confessing: I'm a lute player. A friend borrowed one of my instruments, kept it for a number of years. (Yikes.) When he returned it, the case was in terrible shape: filthy, covered in dust, and it even had some oil paint splotches on it. This product removed most of the dirt. It will probably take a few applications to restore the case as much as possible. It did NOT remove the paint, and I didn't expect it to. It doesn't walk perform miracles, but comes close!
