Music Nomad GRIP Peg Winder

Music Nomad

collapse expand iconDescription

Music Nomad’s patent pending GRIP Winder has a built in dual bearing design that makes turning the GRIP Winder handle effortless, comfortable and super fast. The innovative GRIP technology smoothly slips over tuning pegs for scratch-free operation relative to traditional plastic peg winders. The contoured design fits virtually all tuning pegs both big and small, and a narrow profile prevents hitting close fitted pegs on 12-string and electric guitars. It’s perfect for electric and acoustic guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and orchestral strings.

Very smooth, no slippage. Somebody got it right. Yes there are cheaper versions, but they are just that, cheaper. Worth the extra money.

I have a Roadie2 and it has a wind/unwind feature but it is slow. I could use a dremmel tool but that is fast. this tool is manual completely under my control and allows me to restring at my perfect pace with confidence. Plastic, soft where it needs to be and stuff where it matters this tool is nicely designed and executes the task well.
